Celebrations was the site of this young couple’s nuptials that fell for each other at first site. Swift Creek Reservoir was the backdrop and the contrast between the light coming off the water and the lush trees made the photos (Dave Marks Photography) and video real special. The ceremony was held in the gardens at Richard Bland Community College in Petersburg. The bridesmaids were decked out to the nines in style and color only to be out-matched by the bride’s gown! The reception at Petersburg Country Club was first – class. The heavy our durvs ranged from sushi to Mexican to Tenderloin! Check out the video and you’ll see what I mean.Lauren and Nick

Dellwood Plantation was the site of this Chester, Virginia couple. Nikki looked like a million dollars with her wedding gown from Sestra’s. It was a clear sky’s and the flowers in full bloom – a perfect backdrop for portraits (Picture It by Terri Grubb) and video. The cake was incredible. They met at Virginia Tech. She had eyes for him from the get go…He was playing the cool card. Lauren made the first move to introduce herself, Travis followed up a couple of years later with the wedding proposal! The ceremony and reception was held at The Mill at Fine Creek. Judy and Andrew Judy and Andrew met in during their stint in a homeowners association…she never thought Andrew had eyes for her…he did…! The wedding day was celebrated at the Crowned Plaza Hotel in downtown Richmond. It featured Judy’s father serenading her on piano to ‘You are so beautiful’…his rendition warmed the hearts of everyone in the ballroom!

This couple met in college and from the start these two were headed towards the altar! Rarely do you have a bride that sings into the camera just before the ceremony at St. Bridgets Catholic Church. Jessica Burnette, a music teacher in Henrico Schools did just that. It’s no surprise…a music major from JMU, what was equally as impressive was her back-up ensemble!..on key cue and in key! The reception was held at Willow Oaks Country Club. A gorgeous day for photos on the green (Edward Small Photography) and featured the Janitors (the famous Va.
